lyrics

Om Bhur bhuvah suvaha
Tat savitur varenyam
Bhargo devasya dhimahi
Dhiyo yo naha prachodayat

English:
Oh, dear Divine Mother (Gayatri) we are meditating (Dhimahi) on your radiant, (Devasya) spiritual light (Bhargo)! You are the source (Savitur) of the three phenomenal world planes: the gross or physical (Bhur) the subtle or psychical (Bhuvah) and the potential or causal (Suvaha). May Your venerable (Varenyam) Supreme Divine Being (Tat) stimulate, enlighten, and guide (Prachodayat) our (Naha) mind (Dhiyo), so that we may realise the Supreme Truth.
